0% APR Credit Card Update – Citi Platinum Mastercard Extends 0% Intro Rate

With the hope of warmer months ahead, many consumers are bent on doing their spring purchases. More people would be more than willing to swipe their purchases using their credit cards. Citibank recently extended the length of the 0% introductory purchases for the Citi Platinum Mastercard and the Citi Diamond Preferred Card from 12 months to an industry leading 18 months. In addition to this newly extended 0% rate on purchases, both cards also offer a 0% APR on balance transfers that last 18 months, making them one of the most generous 0% APR credit cards on the market.

There are two ways that make the Citi Platinum and Citi Diamond cards different from other 0% APR credit cards. Their 18 month 0% introductory rate on purchases and balance transfers is granted to all approved applicants.

Another way that makes these credit cards different from other credit cards is that they can save one to two percent on any balance transferred, wherein other cards who offer a 0% APR and yet would still carry a 4% balance transfer fee.
